Case Study: Building a Template Operations Library to Scale Internal Processes

Project Overview

To reduce redundancy and increase operational efficiency across teams, I created a Template Operations Library—a centralized hub of reusable tools designed to streamline recurring workflows. The library includes scheduling templates, meeting prep trackers, status report frameworks, and onboarding forms—all developed to reduce time spent on manual tasks and increase consistency across functions.

The Challenge

Teams were losing time recreating basic documents and tools for routine operations. Key challenges included:

  • Lack of standardized processes for recurring tasks

  • Inefficiencies caused by inconsistent documentation

My Role

  1. Identified high-friction, repeatable tasks across multiple departments

  2. Designed and developed templates using Excel, Google Sheets, and Docs

  3. Created standardized input structures to support easy replication

  4. Gathered user feedback and iterated for clarity, adoption, and efficiency

I launched a Template Operations Library with high-impact, plug-and-play tools including:

  • A time zone–aware scheduling sheet to coordinate multi-time zone meetings

  • A project intake form to centralize stakeholder requests and timelines

  • A recurring meeting agenda framework with built-in action tracking

  • A quarterly planning tracker to align milestones across teams

All tools were built to be lightweight, customizable, and easy to maintain.
